Some say curiosity killed the cat, but for me it speaks of possibilities. It has enabled me to fully engage the world of photography. As more opportunities have opened up, my passion has helped define who I am.
So you might say that my curiosity has fueled my passion for photography. The more places and people that I photograph, the more my passion grows. One might say that it has taken me down many paths.
These days you can find me capturing images of wildlife, people, and flowers throughout the Tampa Bay area. When I can, I travel across the country to photograph the National Parks. I believe that our National Parks are a treasure to savor and preserve.
Although I am formally trained as an engineer, I have always been interested in photography. So, at some point I decided to take a leap of faith and become a full-time photographer. Throughout my years of experience, as an engineer I focused on searching out issues to resolve, looking only at the trees. What the world of photography has shown me is that the forest is just as important. Photography has continued to engage that creative side of me, but allowed me to grow as a person.
I am excited to share my journey with you. I hope that you enjoy viewing my images as much as I enjoyed capturing them!
